How time flies...

My boy is now a teenager!!!! I can't believe it, where have the years gone? I'm not sure i'm ready for him to grow up, it is happening so fast.  He is a great kid and he may now prefer to spend time with his friends than hang out with Mum and Dad but I wouldn't have it any other way. He is a fantasic kid and I am extremely proud of him,  I enjoy watching how he deals with life and I am looking forward to seeing him grow into the amazing adult I know he will be!! Sure he has his moments and I wish he would hang up the clothes that I put on his bed a week ago but the fact that he tells me he loves me every time he leaves the house or calls me on the phone I will forgive him the small stuff.
I have decided to  cherish  everything my kids do, good , bad, funny or sad. The days just turn into weeks which are flying by and before I know it they will be packing up to go off into the world on their own,  don't get me wrong the day the last one leaves Daniele  and I will be having a party and packing our bags and heading off somewhere to recover  before they all decide to have their own kids and the rollercoaster will start all over again.  But that all said I feel really old now my first born has become a teenager, I'm off to invest in some good wrinkle cream!

New car

I am so happy with my new car, apart from the fact that it drives beautifully, is good on gas and has all the cool car gadgets you could ask for, I am most thrilled that no rubbish falls out of it every time you open a door and it doesn't smell of sweaty soccer kits!!!! We will see how long it stays clean for, I have put a ban on any food going in it after I spent ages cleaning out the back of the Dodge, I don't understand how my kids can leave an ice cream cone with ice cream still on it and not expect it to melt everywhere, it was so sticky and gross!!!!

 I am also in love with our new light above our dining room table and i am so proud that we were able to put it up ourselves , we normally wait for Ian to arrive or pay someone but I was so excited to see what it would look like, Daniele agreed to try himself. I was really worried when Daniele was cutting the wires, it was a point of no return but he did great and i love how it looks, now i can  shop for more lights, in fact there is a fantastic copy of a Restoration Hardware chandelier that i spotted in Homesense ....

We went to the kids school fair

We checked out one of Daddy's training sessions. I love seeing him in his new role as coach,  fingers crossed his boys win today!!

I feel for the parents of the kids who win these chocolate overloaded cakes, what a sugar overload. It took a lot for me to leave  the decorating of the cakes down to the kids, you can tell the two i supervised!!!!!!!

So far it has been a perfect weekend, fairs, playdates, sleep overs, ice cream, what more could you ask for......... Well, I now need a big glass of wine and my big comfy bed!!!

Thank heaven for little girls!!!!! I adore all of my kids but there is something special about having a girl amongst all the boys!!!!! She is just such a joy to be with and I enjoy watching her grow and learn, she truly is an old soul and i can't wait to see what she chooses to do in life. I  love you Alessia!!!!! xxxx

We finished the day off with a dance off in the kitchen.

So the boys soccer has kicked it up a notch, this week we have had Francos school soccer tournament, Luca's Rep team tournament and 3 practices, we have another two tournaments next week for Luca and another one for Franco as his team won all 4 of their games and have gone through to the next round. Oh the joys, why can't I have boys who like to sit and read?
