Royal wedding

Wow.... What an amazing wedding, they truly outdid themselves! Kate looked so beautiful, the Princes both looked so handsome, the trees in the Abbey, the Union jacks along the Mall, the whole wedding was full of a reserved sense of class!!  I just loved that they looked so happy and in Love and the fact that they drove to Clarence house in a convertible Aston Martin was fantastic and the mark of a new fresher Monarchy. I think Kate deservedly won a few hearts today and they will hopefully have a long, love filled life together!!!!!!!

Peace and quiet

Peace and quiet is  so rare in our house, 4 kids just doesn't allow for it!!! So when Daniele came through the door soaking wet from practice last night I was quick to offer taking Luca to his soccer practice and he could stay home with the little ones, dinner was already in the oven so it would be an easy night.
So I dropped Luca off at his very wet and foggy practice and I went off to check out the huge Homesense around the corner, one great hour and a trolley full later, (it always amazes me how much I can find when I am not really looking), I headed over to Chapters. I love wandering around bookstores, i bought a vanilla latte and sat in front of the interiors section and lost myself in Kelly Hoppens book, I love her simplicity and elegance. It is amazing how two small hours to yourself, with no Mama being shouted at you or someone needing you can really recharge your batteries, I might just have to make it a weekly affair!!!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter!!! I love a long weekend, we all had a great time just chilling and being together. Here are some pics of the weekend, these may get really boring but they are a great way for my Mum to keep tabs us on from back home in England. We love living here in Toronto and after so many years of moving it is so nice to be settled, the downside to it is that we are so far from our families and we don't get to spend Holidays together. So blogs and pictures it is!!!!

Happy Easter everyone!! The Easter bunny has been , the lamb roast is in the oven and the trifle is in the fridge, all going to plan, we will see how long that lasts!!!!

So I am very new to this Blog game but since i have gotten my creative groove back and have been locking myself away in my art room making Tshirts and setting up an Etsy shop it seems this is the way to go. However i am ridiculously bad on a computer so we will see how it goes.

Just a quick one for today, I have my Hubby home for the whole day( a rare thing lately) so we are off to the garden centre and are just going to enjoy a very chilled Easter sunday as a family. I hope you all have a great day!!!
